The idea for Jeff’s Guyshop started when a small table of menswear flew out of his wife Joelle’s store for the holiday season in 2002. Jeff was on paternity leave from his business development roll at Coca Cola Bottling, after the birth of the couple’s first son. Thirteen months later, with child number two at home and many hours spent with the babies at the store, it became evident that there was a market for a men’s version of Joelle’s.
The concept of Jeff’s Guyshop was built on the successful model of Joelle’s – offering moderately priced, high quality, well branded, sensible style in a comfortable environment. Both stores mix premium denim and casual wear with dressier items and business wear and have a nice range of price points and fabrications.
Jeff’s menswear retail experience dates back to the early nineties when Jeff worked with Dan Bishop and Lou Frasca at Crossings Menswear (they are all now partners in Scrivener’s Men’s Apparel in downtown Burlington as well). Jeff’s keen eye for wearable, comfortable fashion made it very easy to add the menswear component to the mix at Joelle’s to make 457 Brant Street a one stop family shopping experience.
The relaxed atmosphere is complimented by the expertise and no pressure service given by the Jeff’s Guyshop staff – Danielle, Bryce and Jack – along with Jeff, of course!
For those who love fashion, for those who want to look great, for those who actually hate shopping, Jeff’s Guyshop is a must visit!
